It's important to keep current on changes in travel restrictions. 
 
Changes often occur in carry-on limitations, charges for baggage allowance, weight restrictions and number of pieces, and proof of citizenship.
 
Passport books are required now for travel by air into the USA.  Traveling by sea (cruising from US port) is strongly recommended, should anything happen during the cruise and you need to fly back to the US, you are required to have a passport book.  This is for all US citizens including infants.
